This is a six session bereavement group open to all grieving adults in the community who have experienced a loss through death. The group provides a place to connect with others who are also going through loss, share memories of the person who died, learn about the grief process, and explore new ideas to help you cope and heal. We use Alan Wolfelt’s book Understanding Your Grief as a guide to our discussion.
Groups are led by a trained facilitator and will meet virtually once a week for six consecutive weeks. Sessions are held seasonally. Call the Carle Hospice Bereavement Coordinator at (217) 383-3151 to register for the virtual support group. Short-term one-to-one grief support is also available.
