Who is eligible for the fellowship?
Candidates must be in the final year of an accredited graduate program pursuing an MHA, MPH, or MBA with an emphasis in healthcare management, or a degree equivalent to the aforementioned studies.
 
How many fellows are selected each year?
Carle Foundation Hospital accepts 1 fellow per year
 
Can the fellowship be applied towards the residency requirement to complete my master’s degree?
Yes. The Fellowship may be applied towards a residency requirement if the applicant has successfully completed the classroom component of the program by July 1, 2018.
 
Is the fellowship rotational or project based?
The fellowship is primarily project based with a rotational component in the first two months designed to acclimate the fellow to the organization and its leaders.
 
Carle Foundation Hospital is an integrated health system. Will there be opportunities to work within the various entities?
Yes. The fellow will have the opportunity to work within the main hospital, outpatient clinics, regional hospitals, and the Health Alliance health plan.

Yes. You will still need to submit contact information for 3 references, however, even though we only ask for 2 recommendation letters.
