Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:
The Office Coordinator provides clerical support to the Logistics/Transport Department including - filing, telephone work orders, inventories, ordering supplies, maintaining records, setting appointments, and department meeting coordination, among other duties.

Three (3) General - Secretary

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Clerical skills - typing, filing, scheduling, report development and maintenance. General computer knowledge.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Answer telephone, take and deliver messages according to department communication standards.
  • Answers logistcs/transport requests from hospital staff and dispatches them to appropriate staff.
  • Assists in the coordination of administrative and staffing activities in assigned department.
  • Maintains department procedure manuals to comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Performs a variety of clerical duties in support of maintaining, compiling, auditing, and/or processing files.
  • Performs secretarial duties for the Hospital Support Services Department.
