New Hire Onboarding

What is my username and password for New Hire Onboarding?

Your username and password are the same as the ones you used to apply for your position. If you don't know them, you may retrieve them by clicking "Forgot User Name or Password?" If you still have difficulty, please call Human Resources at (217) 902-5300.

What are the computer requirements for using New Hire Onboarding?

To complete your forms in New Hire Onboarding, you'll need Adobe Reader, and you will need to be able to save encrypted forms to a disk.

To check or change your configuration in Internet Explorer, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Internet Explorer menu bar, select Tools, then Internet Options.
  2. Select the Advanced tab and scroll down to the Security section.
  3. Ensure that Do Not Save Encrypted Pages to Disk is not checked.
  4. Click OK.

If you use an Internet browser other than Internet Explorer, contact your browser's vendor for information on ensuring you can save encrypted forms to a disk.

When should I complete my new hire forms?

You'll need to complete employment forms through New Hire Onboarding. Please complete the forms within 72 hours or before your Occupational Medicine appointment.

What is Lawson Employee Self-Service?

Through Lawson, you can view your real-time personal information and perform a variety of functions. Visit the site if you want to update your personal information.

When will I be able to access Lawson Employee Self-Service?

After you receive your Carle computer username, your Lawson account will be established. You will receive an email letting you know how to log in.

General Questions

When do I get my first paycheck?

Paychecks are issued every two weeks. If you elect direct deposit, the deposit will be made to your account(s) on Thursday. If you do not elect direct deposit, your check will be mailed to you.

How do I enroll in direct deposit?

You will also have the opportunity to enroll in direct deposit through Lawson Employee Self-Service once you begin your employment.

How will I record my work time?

When you begin work, your manager will review timekeeping procedures and attendance expectations for your department. This is also covered during New Employee Orientation.
