Nurse Navigator Services

Our nurse navigator is a registered nurse who works with Digestive Health Institute and Oncology providers and has expert knowledge in gastrointestinal cancers. Following your diagnosis with a pre-cancerous or cancerous lesion, the nurse navigator will coordinate appointments for further testing and schedule an appointment for the multi-disciplinary cancer clinic, if needed. The nurse navigator assists with scheduling appointments, facilitating communication with your physicians, and providing guidance and support throughout your treatment for gastrointestinal cancer.

  • Lastly, you be scheduled the same day or a different day to meet with additional care providers such as dietician, social worker and others based on your particular needs.
