Why do some of our providers not have a star rating? This can be for several reasons, including:
Joined Carle: 2009
The nursing staff do not communicate with the doctor. They did not follow doctor's orders. They were told to remove my catheter after 4 hours being on the observation unit. It was still there about 12 hours later, at which point I told them that my bladder felt extremely full even though I still had the catheter and the catheter bag was completely full and nobody checked on me. Patient Care Tech never came in, the hourly rounding did not happen. My first nurse disappeared. It wasn't until the second shift people came in that I finally started to get good care.
I went in to get my biopsy results and when I got there they results were not in. They called about them and pathology said they had not been done. 2 weeks after being sent in. This is a very stressful time and to have to wait a week or two longer then you should've had to is not acceptable!!!!
The nurses and all the help staff they are very friendly and patient and outgoing. They show upmost respect for all the clients and they do what they can to make you comfortable as possible. However, Dr. Ibrahim is very rude, very outspoken and just just rude period. He needs to work on his communication skills. His delivery message needs to be real approach. He wants you to believe that it is who he is and you have to accept it when you don't because when you respond rudely back to him then you have a bigger situation on your hands. He just needs to work on his people skills period. He's very rude.
While Carle measures many aspects of our patients’ experience, only the survey questions specific to each provider are used to calculate their star rating. The surveys asks patients to evaluate their physicians in areas like communication, listening skills and respect. Results are used to evaluate patients’ overall perception of care and to identify areas for improvement. For each provider, ratings from their patients are averaged together to form a single star rating.
Thank you guys for helping out during my pregnancy and you guys did really great. I couldn't give you any negative response, it was awesome, quick, and easy. Thanks.
