Why do some of our providers not have a star rating? This can be for several reasons, including:
Joined Carle: 2011
It was a very nice experience, we browsed in the optical dept before our appointment, to kill time was never greeted or ask if we needed any help , I didn't believe that was very professional . But on the good side Dr Li was very nice.
Everyone was great in my care. Very happy with my procedure and everyone that played a part in it.
I had a very smooth experience and all of the Carle staff involved were very friendly and helpful and made me feel at ease!
While Carle measures many aspects of our patients’ experience, only the survey questions specific to each provider are used to calculate their star rating. The surveys asks patients to evaluate their physicians in areas like communication, listening skills and respect. Results are used to evaluate patients’ overall perception of care and to identify areas for improvement. For each provider, ratings from their patients are averaged together to form a single star rating.
I was stunned by the caring, receptive, and valuing of my opinions and my input during this interview with a new doctor Dr. Li and the nurses and all the staff. I actually made called to my children out of town to express my extreme thrill that I had someone looking after me their responses afterwards were amazing to take action on all and I'm not a usual type customer of come with a history of mistakes and in an accident and I feel so well kept I can went home and slept for the first time.
Was a positive experience. Discussions lead to relief of anxieties. Given choice in future plan of care. No pressure.
I would appreciate having access to other patients experiences with particular doctors. Other online services do this, why not in medicine???
This was my first visit in this department, so that is why the physician was not familiar with my medical history.
Doctor did not have any new solution for my pain. However, to be far I didn't think he would. Was going to cancel the appointment. But you can next to never call in and actually talk to anyone at Carle any more. Why is that?
I was uncomfortable with the male student in the room with us.
Excellent care snd kindness!
The nurses for one need to listen to the patient especially when they were hurting and pain and whenever they're feeling something is not right call the doctor immediately and not just whisperer around with the other nurses saying oh, well, there wasn't nothing you can do for her. So we will just go to the next person and there needs to be a more professional attitude when it comes to the patient that they are taking care of and whenever they say they're going to call the doctor. They need to call the doctor. And they need to know and dictate exactly when they get pain meds instead of not doing that and keep saying oh, well, you got another hour to wait when they don't even know exactly when they gave the last pain medication.
I had a 11:00 appointment and arrived at 10:45 and was advised the doctor was running a LITTLE behind. I was seen by the nurse, had vitals done and pictures taken to be submitted to my insurance. I was back in the room by 11:05 and nurse came back in to tell me doctor would be in shortly. At 11:45 I got dressed and walked out to see all nurses and other workers in their area talking. I informed my nurse I could no longer wait to be seen because I had to return back to work. I was asked did I want to reschedule and I informed her no. The provider was not in the building upon me leaving.
I like how they take care of the patient and preparing time and support.
As a "repeat offender"...several outpatient surgeries later...I would like to commend ALL people involved in my care. From the front desk on the surgical floor all the way through each step, I had excellent care! Though I hope not to have to come back anytime soon, I was treated extremely well. Pleasant, knowledgeable people who took super care of me! Please acknowledge each and every one for me!!!!
I was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff, they were kind and courteous explained everything in detail, Dr. Li was very thorough and the nurse [...] was very professional and gave me information that I didn't know and I was very pleased with my visit. [...] Thanks.
I would just like to say that the nurses are very professional. They are friendly the receptionists at the front are extremely friendly all of them seem very knowledgeable and very helpful. Dr. Li is fantastic. I wish I could have him as a primary. If I need any kind of plastic surgery in the future, he is the only one I would like to have. Thank you guys.
Nurse practitioner and the doctor was very kind and they took time out to listen to you.
