Why do some of our providers not have a star rating? This can be for several reasons, including:

  1. The provider has not yet received the minimum number of patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
  2. The provider practices in a specialty or office that does not use the specified surveys currently used for these ratings.

Really like Dr. John Hoffman.

Good as always.

JR Hoffman,MD is always knowledgeable and caring. I trust his advice and respect him.

While Carle measures many aspects of our patients’ experience, only the survey questions specific to each provider are used to calculate their star rating. The surveys asks patients to evaluate their physicians in areas like communication, listening skills and respect. Results are used to evaluate patients’ overall perception of care and to identify areas for improvement. For each provider, ratings from their patients are averaged together to form a single star rating.

A great pleasure.

Dr. Hoffman spent ample time with me answering all of my questions and gave me good recommendations. He also was excellent in following up with questions I've asked but he could not answer at the moment. So his help was very much appreciated.

Dr. Hoffman is probably the best doctor I have ever had. I have lived in many places and seen many doctors.

I was there on time at 10:25 but but there was a lot of waiting before I was actually seen. My actual appointment was for 10:45, but it was close to 45 minutes more before I was actually seen. There were a few unforeseen problems that arose before in-between the time I arrived & the time I saw my doctor. Someone told me he was backlogged quite a bit. I'm usually pretty patient, except when I have to stand in line for 10 plus minutes. My feet and legs aren't up to standing for much more than 10 minutes. They also had problems finding one of those chairs with wheels that nurses use to cart patients to their destination. I just consider it unfortunate bad luck.

Check in was difficult it took me 3 min to get the computer to answer a simple no

Everything was excellent
