Why do some of our providers not have a star rating? This can be for several reasons, including:
Joined Carle: 2014
Your staff and including Dr. Burns was extremely nice and I felt it wonderfully comfortable there and I've never been there before and I was just happy and I will definitely recommend it to anybody. It was a very pleasant experience for me.
It was ok but provider didn't seem to have reviewed/read my history or test results before entering the room. I would prefer a woman ob/gyn but was told none were available when made appointment.
Dr. Burns really listened to me. He was patient and kind and heard what I had to say. This man is not only intelligent as a M.D. but his mother is a beautiful person because his bedside manner is on point. I truly give him 10/10. All 5 stars. He is an active listener and open minded. You (Carle) have a well rounded and awesome human being on staff (Dr. Burns) please keep this man around. Dr. B, I do not know if you will see this, but I hope you know you are a blessing and Thank you! The medical assistants are always cheerful and pleasant. My experience at Carle has been consistently great!
While Carle measures many aspects of our patients’ experience, only the survey questions specific to each provider are used to calculate their star rating. The surveys asks patients to evaluate their physicians in areas like communication, listening skills and respect. Results are used to evaluate patients’ overall perception of care and to identify areas for improvement. For each provider, ratings from their patients are averaged together to form a single star rating.
Dr Burns is the worse doctor I have ever been to and I will never return to his practice again. He needs to learn bedside manner. It may be just another day on the job for him but for his patients, it's our lives we are dealing with. We shovel money out to these doctors to try to get answers and to get better so we can have a better quality of life but all we are is a number.
Yeah, I found the doctor to be very caring, compassionate, he seemed to be very interested in the care, the best care of my child. So I do believe he's been very professional and excellent, professional doctor. So I would recommend him to anyone.
Rating Dr. Lavias Burns I would rate him 10 or 100 if I could because I feel like he's more less saving my life. [...] And now Dr. Burns has it come in a more less clean up the mess because now we're looking at [...], which I feel like could have maybe been prevented if the other provider that I went to before I saw Dr. Burns which as a result, I'm glad I'm with Dr. Burns, [...], but I'm glad that I'm with Dr. Burns and I feel like the situation is being handled.
Dr. Burns is a good doctor. He listens and he also gives feedback that is understandable.
Hi. When I had the procedure done, which I'm not sure what day it was -[...]. I waited an hour and a half for him to do that. I waited about 45 to 50 minutes before they took me right to the procedure room, and then another 40 or 45 minutes for him to come in and when he did come in he said, ohh, I really didn't know you were back here for a while. So I was very unhappy with the wait before my procedure was done. So if anything can be done, they just kept saying that it had been a bad morning, but it's very hard when you're going to have a procedure done that they leave you waiting without any indication of when they're going to come in.
