While Carle measures many aspects of our patients’ experience, only the survey questions specific to each provider are used to calculate their star rating. The surveys asks patients to evaluate their physicians in areas like communication, listening skills and respect. Results are used to evaluate patients’ overall perception of care and to identify areas for improvement. For each provider, ratings from their patients are averaged together to form a single star rating.

Was almost 1 full hour after scheduled appt time before I was seen be PA. Had to leave exam room and ask if I had been overlooked. Were no other patients in waiting room when I arrived for appt.


I saw Laura Browning in the ENT department and she was very pleasant and engaging and very gentle with the ear exam. Highly recommend her

My experience checking in was not what I expected. I don't expect to have to check myself in on a kiosk. I expect a real person which I did have(but there was only 1 person working)after I refused to check in on their machine. I used the kiosk once before and after waiting 45 min. found out it never checked me in. These stupid machines are taking good jobs away from people who need to work. And I myself want a real person to check me in especially because I was told to arrive 15 min early with my id and insurance card and co payment as applicable and I expected a real person to be taking care of things not a machine. You just wasted 15 min of my time. With all of Carle's money they surely don't have to resort to machines to check in patients. Come to find out I didn't have to show an id or insurance card at all and the receptionist was not concerned about a co-payment. I offered one. It tells on my insurance card what the co-payment is if she would have looked at it. I saw only 1 other person using the kiosk and everyone else was in line to check in with the real person. What does that tell you? How impersonal can we get?

Checking in was difficult. All kiosks were full and a long line of people were waiting at desk.


I have been seeing Laura Browning for quite some time now and trust her to take care of these medical needs.


The PA did not review my son's file prior to us coming to the visit, nor did they look at his file during the visit to understand why we were there and when we tried to explain why we were there, they didn't take our concerns seriously. Even though we had been referred by an MD, the PA still tried to override the MD without even looking at my son's file. So, we were not happy with the way she handled things whatsoever, and we will not be back to that entire office because of the way she acted. Thank you.
