Scheduling a Prenatal Appointment
If you suspect that you are pregnant, it is important to call (217) 383-3140 and schedule a prenatal appointment with Carle Obstetrics and Gynecology as soon as possible.
Your first prenatal appointment is designed to confirm your pregnancy and discuss your general health. Your care provider will also determine and discuss the following:
- Your due date
- Personal medical history
- Family medical history
- Any risk factors that may impact your pregnancy
- Previous pregnancies and surgeries
- Current medications, including over-the-counter and prescription medications
Please bring any questions you may have for your provider to your prenatal appointments. Remember to allow time for travel and parking to ensure that you arrive 15 minutes early. If you have concerns prior to your appointment, please contact your physician's office.
