How does the interview process work?

Your application will be reviewed for applicable skills, work history and required experience. For individuals who are scheduled to speak with a Human Resources professional, the process begins with an interview covering general topics and addresses the applicant's employment background. A second interview may follow with personnel from the specific department. This interview is geared toward gauging the applicant’s suitability for the specific job and likelihood to fit with members of the department. In some cases, a candidate may have a third interview to meet with peers in the department. All offers for employment at Carle are contingent upon the candidate’s ability to obtain positive references from past employers, successfully pass a criminal background check, as well as a pre-employment physical.

Can I apply for more than one position on the same application?

You may apply for multiple positions using our online application system, but you will have to submit separate applications for each. You will be able to copy your previous application so that you do not have to start from scratch each time.

How do I know my status in the application process?

You can check on your status in the application process by selecting “Application Status” on our job opportunities page. You will be notified either via e-mail or phone as decisions are made through the selection process.

What is the salary range for the posted position?

The salary range will be discussed during the interview in Human Resources.

What is "prn" status?

PRN employees are not normally scheduled any hours. However, they are available to work as mutually agreed between the employer and the employee.

Do you have any positions that allow me to work from my home?

Some positions offer work from home opportunities, typically after an orientation period. Positions with work from home options will be noted within the individual job posting.
