Sisters follow in each other's footsteps to become legacy nurses
Whether you’re a caregiver or a patient suffering from a chronic illness, Carle is here to help improve quality of life. Palliative care helps patients and families find wellbeing and relief from the symptoms of progressive chronic illness. Conditions may include cancer, lung disease, kidney disease, heart conditions, dementia and a variety of other illnesses. Palliative care is appropriate at any age and stage of illness and can be provided together with curative treatment.
Our team of health care specialists works together to coordinate care, relieve suffering and promote the quality of life of hospital patients with advanced illness or complex medical issues, regardless of age or diagnosis. Our team includes a physician, nurse practitioner, social worker and chaplain.
