Carle BroMenn Medical Center is a Level II Trauma Center, a designated Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP), and offers specialized care for patients with psychiatric needs and victims of sexual assault. In 2020, Carle BroMenn became only the third hospital in Illinois to achieve Geriatric Emergency Department Accreditation from the American College of Emergency Physicians.
Additionally, the Emergency staff provides care that supports the hospital’s accreditations as a Chest Pain Center and Primary Stroke Center, ensuring patients suffering cardiac and neurologic emergencies receive evidence-based, high-quality care.
