Conference Frequently Asked Questions

Continuing education statements can be found in the “Register Now!” announcements sent to email list subscribers and are also listed under "More Information" on each conference page in the continuing education portal.

You must complete the applicable portions of the activity evaluation and the credit claim form before the certificate of attendance is issued. Evaluations are available online for two weeks after the date of the educational activity.

If you don't complete the evaluation before the deadline (two weeks after the educational activity), you may submit the Missing Certificate Form to receive a link good for one week. A processing fee is applied to certificates requested after the deadline.

Once you complete the evaluation, you can claim your credit. There will be no additional extensions past this one-time one week extension. No continuing education credits will be issued six months after the end of an activity.

Free parking is available at the Champaign County Fairgrounds. Fairgrounds parking spans the 900-1100 blocks of N. Coler Avenue in Urbana. After parking, you'll go south on Orchard Street. When you cross Church Street, follow the sidewalk that will lead you between the hospital tower on your right and The Forum to your left. If you choose to park in one of the parking garages, it will be at your own expense.

If breakfast or lunch will be offered to attendees, it'll be noted in the individual event details. For all other events, you'll need to plan your own meals. Several food and drink options can be found in Carle Foundation Hospital.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be received in writing no later than seven (7) days before the conference. Refunds for cancellations will only be issued to the original payment method. Refunds are not available for cancellations made less than seven (7) days before the conference—however, registration may be transferred to another person to attend the event. Cancellations or transfer requests must be made in writing to Continuing.Education@carle.com.

Change of attendance type (virtual or in-person) must be requested in writing 72 hours before the conference.
