Stephens Family Clinical Research Institute offers opportunities for college research interns throughout the year. Depending on experience, roles may include administrative support for studies, data analysis, shadowing study visits, eligibility screening, running cultures and more.
Research Internships
Occasionally, the Stephens Family Clinical Research Institute (SFCRI) offers paid internship positions. As an SFCRI intern, students gain valuable clinical research experience while assisting SFCRI staff and Carle clinicians with data-capture and quality-review aspects of research. They may also perform basic literature searches using PubMed and other medical databases to gain basic understanding of the science behind the projects.

Non-scholastic Internship
Non-scholastic internship opportunities provide internship opportunities without college credit. These opportunities are not guaranteed and are on a per-request basis only and at the discretion of the placement department.
