Carle Cissna Park Clinic Returning to Full Operation Dec. 4
A local medical professional is bringing experienced medical care to residents of Cissna Park and the surrounding area, starting Dec. 4.

Shelby Robinson, APRN, is accredited through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and she will be leading care at the Carle Cissna facility located at 141 W. Garfield Ave. Robinson grew up in Cissna Park, graduated from Cissna Park High School and currently lives in the Iroquois County community.

“I want to be a trusted provider of care for the community,” Robinson said.

Operations at the clinic were reduced to Wednesday morning pediatric visits several weeks ago. Pediatrician hours will continue in addition to Robinson’s hours.

Heather Tucker, DNP, RN-BC, NEA-BC, Carle Health director of Ambulatory Services-Vermilion and Iroquois County, said, “We are committed to ensuring rural areas have medical expertise needed to stay well and we are fortunate to have a professional with community perspective in place.”

Robinson’s previous work at Carle Health includes cardiovascular nursing at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana and as an advanced practice registered nurse at the Carle Watseka location.

Hours at the Carle Cissna clinic will be 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Friday. More location information can be found at
