Why do some of our providers not have a star rating? This can be for several reasons, including:

  1. The provider has not yet received the minimum number of patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
  2. The provider practices in a specialty or office that does not use the specified surveys currently used for these ratings.

Dr. Huesmann is a great doctor. He listens well and answers all our questions. He is very knowledgeable about seizures/epilepsy and medications for it and for sleep problems, too. I would recommend him to my friends.

Dr Huesmann is amazingly knowledgeable in providing the care and treatment plans for my medically complex and fragile adult son. He is a Blessing for us and we are thankful for the ability to go to him.

Dr. Huesmann listens. He knows what I have. He tries to help me in all ways possible and listened to what I have to say. Thank you.

While Carle measures many aspects of our patients’ experience, only the survey questions specific to each provider are used to calculate their star rating. The surveys asks patients to evaluate their physicians in areas like communication, listening skills and respect. Results are used to evaluate patients’ overall perception of care and to identify areas for improvement. For each provider, ratings from their patients are averaged together to form a single star rating.

I was a very, very happy with everything the nurses were great, doctors were great. I love speed there. It made me feel comfortable and be there until I hope that's how life everything was but I think I left my laptop cord there the only bad thing. I think I left it. So that's what I think. I think the nurses awesome doctors were great. And I found out what was wrong and for trying for 45 years to get it fixed. They did it the first time so, I'm very happy. Thank you for letting me be a patience in Carl.

We Love the provider. But the facility and walking are ridiculous!

Dr. Huesmann is the best neurologist I have had. I really value his opinion and feel he listens to me as a patient. I also think his assistant, [...] provides good support for him. Both are incredible assets to Carle.

My experiences with Dr. Huesmann have been excellent. My experiences with Carle overall in years past have been far from acceptable, in fact very poor treatment by doctors and poor medical care.
