Carle at The Riverfront Surgery Center supports local access to advanced healthcare services
Carle Hospice is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered end-of-life care that supports the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of individuals and their families. Our mission is to help patients maintain dignity and comfort during their journey, while ensuring loved ones receive the guidance and support they need. With a focus on respect, empathy and individualized care, Carle Hospice strives to make each moment meaningful for those we serve.
Our team of nurses, social workers, nursing assistants, chaplains and trained volunteers comes together to care for each person as a whole – body, mind and spirit. By working closely with patients and those they love, we honor what matters most to them, supporting everyday choices and decisions that help bring comfort, dignity and the best possible quality of life.
Choosing hospice care does not mean that death is near or that hope is lost. Instead, it can open the door to added comfort, support and peace of mind. Beginning hospice care earlier allows our team more time to listen, address concerns and focus on what matters most to each individual’s quality of life. In some cases, people even feel better while receiving hospice care and may improve enough to be discharged from the program.
Hospice care is provided wherever a person feels most at home. Whether that’s in the comfort of their own home or within a nursing home, assisted living community or residential care setting, our team meets patients where they are, surrounding them with familiar comforts and compassionate support.
