Carle Health is here to provide your flu vaccine.

Carle Health recommends flu shots for all our patients and community members, no matter where you receive it. Flu shots will be available to anyone 6 months and older at Carle Health clinics unless otherwise specified. Nasal Flu Mist will not be available at any Carle Health location. High dose will be available for patients 65 and older, or as prescribed by your provider.

For local flu season resources available in your area, please call the Carle Health Seasonal Flu Hotline at (217) 326-5000.

We encourage patients to receive their influenza vaccinations in late September through October before it can spread throughout the community.

Patients with upcoming appointments with their Primary Care Prrovider are encouraged to request a flu shot during that appointment. You can also schedule a med check, wellness check or other primary care appointment and get your flu shot at that time. Patients can schedule appointments on their MyCarle account or by calling the Patient Support and Access Center at (217) 902-6240.

You may also visit your local retail pharmacy, local health department or a
Carle Mobile Health Clinic in your community to receive a flu shot.

Where should I go if I suspect I have the flu?
Always call your primary care provider whenever you need care. If you do not have a PCP, or are unable to get in to see them, Carle Health has a number of Convenient Care locations that are ready and able to see you.

Updates will be provided by Carle Health as they become availiable.
