Carle Foundation Hospital is one of two awarded in the state and the only facility recognized in downstate Illinois.

The healthcare system is proud to be one of the only institutions in downstate Illinois distinguished by the Health Equity Index (HEI) for building an inclusive and beneficial care experience for every patient.

All five hospitals in the Carle system are led by women, this Women’s History Month we look at the contribution these exceptional leaders offer to the organization.
