Athletic Republic™ Acceleration Program
The best get better when the lights aren't shining. To ensure that you reach your full potential, the Athletic Republic training program at Carle Sports Medicine offers you the opportunity to have the same offseason that the world's best athletes have.
Athletic Republic Acceleration is a four to eight week speed and power training program that’ll enhance performance by focusing on agility, vertical jump, body mechanics and sprint work. Our state-of-the-art treadmills will assist in pushing you past your previous limits and to a new level of speed and performance. The training sessions are set up to be performed three times per week for four-, six- or eight-week increments.
Vertical Jump Training
Having a few more inches on your vertical can mean elevating higher to hit that jump shot or finishing that spike instead of being blocked. This four-, six- or eight-week program will focus on improving your explosive leaping ability through teaching proper movement mechanics, strengthening essential lower and upper body musculature, and restoring key mobility needed to maximize potential. Through use of Vertimax™ training, plyometrics, and medicine-ball and resistance-band training, we have the tools for you to reach new heights. Pre- and post-training measures will be recorded to gauge your improvements. This program meets for two sessions per week.
Sport-Specific Training
This specialized six-week program is designed to increase athletic ability for athletes across the many disciplines of sport. After an evaluation determining your current attributes, we program drills and the mobility-, strengthening- and focused-training you need to improve athletic performance in your specific sport. In conjunction with patented Athletic Republic™ Resistance Cord Programs ThrowingCord™, HittingCord™ or KickingCord™ technologies, our program offers training for:
· Baseball.
· Basketball.

Running Clinic
Running is one of the easiest and most popular forms of exercise. Yet recent studies show that more than 50% of runners will report an overuse injury each year! Insert Carle Sports Medicine’s Running Clinic: your guide for injury prevention. In these sessions, you’ll meet with an experienced health professional who’ll evaluate functional movement patterns, mobility, biomechanical risk factors, and video analysis of walking and running gait – and will work with you to create an exercise plan to reduce the risk of overuse injury. Learn how to put your best foot forward!
ACL Bridge Program
ACL reconstruction (ACLR) is a commonly performed surgery to assist in athlete recovery and return to activity from ACL injury. Pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation are critical in returning athletes to levels of prior sport performance. Recent studies have demonstrated an up-to-seven-times greater risk of additional injury to the same or opposite leg if patients aren't yet meeting functional, time-based and mental criteria when they return fully to sports. Our ACL Bridge Program is designed to prepare active patients both physically and mentally to return to the rigors of sport participation and help reduce their risk of further injury. Training and testing batteries were designed with the most recent evidence to prepare each athlete to return to what they love, playing their sport.
PEAK Personal Training
This individualized program is designed to address your personal fitness/athletic performance goals. Workouts are based on specific evaluation and testing that focuses on the individual strengths and weaknesses of each participant. Through the support and professional guidance of our Certified Athletic Trainers, you will improve your fitness level and learn how to train and exercise safely, while working toward improving your strength and overall fitness/performance. These personal training sessions are typically set up two to three times per week for six weeks.

Have you lost strength? Have you noticed that you’ve lost flexibility or range of motion in your joints and muscles? Are you having difficulty reaching items in a cabinet or kneeling down to pick something up off the floor?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then Carle Sports Medicine is here to help. At Carle Sports Medicine, we offer a Senior Exercise Class designed to improve strength, flexibility, balance and overall daily-life function.
