With a donation of hundreds of books from local non-profit Books from Brek, Healthy Beginnings continues its mission to foster early childhood success for families in the program.

James Leonard, MD, Carle Health president and CEO, has written his second children's book, which is for sale in Carle auxiliary and service league gift shops. Proceeds support auxiliary and service league programs and services and hundreds of copies have been given to a program for children.
