Carle to offer Pfizer booster to recommended community members at scheduled vaccine clinics

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends a booster dose for individuals who qualify six months after completing the two-dose Pfizer vaccine series. The CDC recommends the booster for those 65 and above and 50 and above with underlying medical conditions.

This marks the first COVID-19 vaccine to achieve full approval status in addition to its Emergency Use Authorization.
