Mental Health Care

Inpatient and outpatient mental health services are delivered by our dedicated teams committed to supporting individuals through each stage of care.

  • Inpatient Mental Health Care

    Inpatient services provide 24-hour clinical care in a supportive, care setting for individuals needing evaluation and stabilization of mental or behavioral health concerns. If there is an immediate concern for safety or risk of harm, dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

    Individuals receive support from a multidisciplinary care team, with services tailored to each person’s treatment plan. Care commonly includes individual and group therapy, educational sessions, family support and education, and medication management when clinically indicated. Services also include discharge planning and care coordination to support a transition to ongoing care after inpatient treatment.

    Inpatient mental or behavioral health services are offered at several Carle Health locations to support individuals at every stage of life.

  • Mental Health Crisis Center

    Short-term crisis residential services are available 24/7 for adults at Trillium Place Crisis Center for mental health crises such as emotional distress, anxiety or depression. If there is an immediate concern for safety or risk of harm, dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

  • Outpatient Mental Health Care

    Outpatient care can assist individuals in navigating life's challenges - whether facing a major transition, managing stress or anger, working through relationship dynamics or coping with anxiety, depression or other emotional concerns.

    A range of outpatient services are offered at several care locations with care options for children and adults:

    • Counseling: one-on-one therapy services to help individuals explore challenges, set goals and build coping skills.
    • Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP): structured, intensive mental health treatment for adults, with programming offered during the day while allowing individuals to return home in the evenings.
    • Psychiatry or medication management: evaluation and medication support often provided in combination with counseling services.

Addiction Recovery Care

Recovery is personal — and every step matters. Services are available for adults with a range of treatment options. Our team is here to meet individuals where they are in their journey and offer support each step of the way.

  • Detox Center

    Trillium Place Crisis Center offers withdrawal management services, commonly known as detox, for adults. Available 24/7, these services provide clinical support in a short-term care setting to manage withdrawal symptoms from substances such as alcohol. Care coordination is also provided to assist in connecting individuals to ongoing supportive services. Connect with our team to learn more.

  • Withdrawal Management, Inpatient and Partial Hospitalization Addiction Services

    A range of addiction recovery care options for adults including withdrawal management, inpatient, partial hospitalization and outpatient care is offered at the Addiction Recovery Center in Peoria.

  • Residential Addiction Treatment

    Trillium Place offers residential addiction recovery services in Peoria for adults, providing a safe and supportive care setting with educational groups, group counseling, individual counseling and individualized recovery planning.

  • Outpatient Addiction Care

    A range of supportive outpatient services is offered at several care locations for adults, including:

    • Intensive outpatient programming: group-based counseling and educational programming provided multiple times a week while individuals continue to live at home.
    • Continuing care or aftercare programs: supportive outpatient services, offered in a group setting, to provide continued support beyond initial treatment.
    • Medication-Assisted Recovery (also known as Medication-Assisted Treatment, or MAT): assessment of medications to support addiction recovery can be evaluated as a part of treatment programming.

  • DUI Services

    A range of DUI services including DUI evaluations, 10-hour risk education classes, and treatment are provided in a confidential, professional, and supportive setting.

    Items needed to complete an evaluation:

    • Law Enforcement Sworn Report or Notice of Summary Suspension.
    • Driving Abstract from the DMV.
