Community members visiting Carle Foundation Hospital patients and those entering the Emergency Department soon will need to show photo identification, register and receive a visitor badge when entering the hospital.

Carle is announcing it’s easing some limitations for visitors and support persons beginning Thursday, January 28 at all Carle Health locations. The entire Carle system is seeing a decrease in COVID-19 hospitalizations.

Around the clock food options remain available for staff, patients and visitors during construction, as the yearlong transformation will expand future cafeteria offerings in the lower level at Carle Foundation Hospital (CFH) in Urbana.

Work continues to enhance patient and visitor access at the Carle Foundation Hospital Emergency Department.
