The Discovery Pathway offers residents a unique opportunity to grow their strengths as future physician innovators and leaders. This high-impact, integrated program is specifically designed to let residents tailor their professional development opportunities to the interests and expertise that’ll become central to their careers as future pioneers in healthcare.

The Discovery Pathway harnesses all these strengths for residents who want a truly high-impact experience.
The track includes an additional year of training, integrated throughout the residency. This longitudinal release of protected time creates continuous opportunities to advance growth objectives, rather than a consecutive year that interrupts clinical work.

Interested residents from any of our programs may apply in the second half of their internship year. Priority will be given to proposals that are aimed at improving the health of our patients through better outcomes, lowering the cost of care and/or improving access to healthcare.
