Your visit to Carle Illinois Clinic will be handled like a normal physician office visit. Carle encourages all patients who have questions about coverage to contact their respective insurance companies to verify coverage before their scheduled visits and/or procedures. Carle Patient Financial Services is also available Monday through Friday from 8a.m. to 5 p.m. at (888) 71-CARLE, (888) 712-2753.
At the clinic, all positions are filled by Carle Illinois College of Medicine students. After reviewing your health history and taking your vitals, a student will perform an evaluation. After visiting with you, the student will explain this detail to a licensed attending physician who will then also examine you. Throughout the clinical part of the visit, you may hear the student and physician discussing your health.
The student providers at Carle Illinois Clinic will treat all primary care needs. So if you are in need of a newborn screening or annual wellness exam, this clinic can help you.
