There are many ways to volunteer at Carle Eureka Hospital. From leadership roles to greeters, our volunteers play a vital role in helping our care teams and patients.
Adult Volunteers (age 18 and above) serve patients, families and staff to enhance their healthcare experience. Information desk volunteers are often the first friendly faces our patients and visitors see. Great care is made to match the volunteer's interests, skills, knowledge and availability with the department's needs.
Whether college students serve during the school year or during the summer, we appreciate their help. All college students must serve two hours each week. For the safety of our staff and patients, job shadowing isn’t allowed. Volunteering will provide an excellent education and experience for all students.
Carle volunteers have access to the volunteer information center. Here, current volunteers can review their profiles, schedule shifts and review open shifts within their specified assignment. Be sure to use the email you have registered with Volunteer Services.
