Health Alliance member calls Connections’ impact life-changing

Health Alliance Connections offers member-focused health and support.Nearly 90 percent of Health Alliance Medicare Advantage members choose to stay with Health Alliance each year. And many new members are getting familiar with their 2020 coverage.

Valerie Driscoll-Kirk wants all members – and their loved ones – to know about Health Alliance Connections. Connections at Carle at The Fields in southwest Champaign keeps Driscoll-Kirk engaged in her health. She participates in a variety of the wellness classes – from strength and balance to yoga – to help her cope with multiple sclerosis (MS).

“The classes at Connections have helped me to move. One thing the MS Society will tell you to do is move and stay active,” said Driscoll-Kirk, spotlighting a big benefit of her time at Connections. “I couldn’t even make the short walk from the parking to the entrance without my walker, but now I can do it on my own using just my cane.”
