Carle Mobile Health Clinic expands access in Champaign-Urbana
The Carle Mobile Health Clinic brings affordable, non-urgent medical services to neighborhoods near you. Our 40-foot, wheelchair-friendly mobile medical clinic offers infants, children and adults full-service medical care to make sure families stay healthy. Practitioners have experience in pediatrics, family medicine, and women’s health and pregnancy.

We’re open to serve you, but with extra precautions in place. To minimize the number of people on the unit at one time, registration will take place outside. You will need to wait in your vehicle or inside the nearby building until your appointment time.
We have installed plexiglass barriers and enhanced our cleaning schedule. The MHC is cleaned between patients and deep cleaned nightly. Staff assisting you will be wearing face coverings and other appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for the safety of all.
Carle is offering the Pfizer and one-dose Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines alongside the Mobile Health Clinic at all operational sites. Walk-in doses are first come, first serve until daily supplies are exhausted. You may be asked to return at an assigned time to accommodate social distancing.
Carle Addiction Recovery Center services are now available every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at Salt & Light in Urbana. Walk-ins between 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. or virtual appointments anytime.
This monthly clinic provides treatment and support to children with asthma.
Our care team will evaluate patients and prescribe medication as appropriate, and provide education for asthma triggers and treatments. A social worker will be available to help address barriers to treatment and identify other community programs that may be helpful. Carle partners with healthcare providers, schools and other community entities to ensure children in our community have the treatment they need at home, at school and beyond.
The clinic is held on the third Thursday of every month. It is open from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and is located at the Illinois Worknet Building, 1307 N. Mattis Ave., Champaign.

Insurance and financial assistance from community resources are accepted and will be utilized if available, but Carle Mobile Health Services will see all patients regardless of their ability to pay.
While clinic staff will supply some immunizations, there will be no medications (including narcotics) available. If you receive a prescription during your visit, it will be submitted electronically to the pharmacy of your choice.
Yes. Staff providing care will have access to all patient electronic health records for Carle and Christie Clinic patients. The results of each visit will become part of your electronic health record.
Carle Mobile Health Services would be happy to support appropriate community events, at no cost. Depending on accessibility of space and staffing resources, we may determine our support vehicle would be more appropriate for your event.
