Carle Inclusion Connection Groups

You deserve a work experience where you can meet with other professionals across diverse teams, share your experiences, learn, grow and influence an inclusive healthcare culture.

At Carle Health, we’re committed to creating an inclusive environment where diverse voices and talents can thrive. Our Carle Inclusion Connection (CIC) group program provides team members opportunities for Professional growth, mentorship and ways to connect their identities with the work we do every day. 

Group members gather regularly, share professional development resources and coordinate service projects. At the quarterly CIC Leaders Council, co-leads discuss group priorities, updates and feedback with senior and executive leadership.

Black Physicians of Carle

The Black Physicians of Carle group provides support to physicians of color through mentorship and retention efforts at Carle Health and supports recruitment and retention of medical students of color at Carle Illinois College of Medicine.

Carle hYPe

Carle hYPe offers a setting for young professionals at Carle Health to interact professionally and socially through career development and networking while connecting to our communities through volunteerism.

CAN

The Carle Accessibility Network creates a space for team members with diverse abilities and disabilities to collaborate in enhancing inclusion and accessibility in our health system for employees, patients and plan members with disabilities.

Carle MVP

Carle MVP builds camaraderie based on shared military experience to serve our fellow military/veteran community within Carle Health, and to serve the veterans and their families in the communities we call home.

Carle Multicultural Alliance

The Carle Multicultural Alliance celebrates the diverse cultures in our workforce. It fosters inclusive and equitable conversations, and builds an organizational culture that fosters engagement and belongingness, so staff feel empowered to do their best work while meeting the needs of our diverse communities.

Carle Pride

Carle Pride provides opportunities and education for knowledge and growth related to LGBTQ+ patient care, advancing and supporting healthcare options for the LGBTQ+ community, fostering workplace and personal connections, and advocating for LGBTQ+ groups in the communities we serve.

CREW

CREW creates a welcoming community for women and allies that fosters connections and opportunities to promote the empowerment of women in healthcare.
