Work with all new students for all programs to deliver a holistic counseling experience relative to the following: course enrollment information, academic records, financial aid, health records and new student orientation.

Process new enrollments into the student information system with guidance from Registrar and Director of Academic Advising

Help new students to identify their challenges and establish methods for overcoming them.
|
Responsible for enrolling new students into their first term course work for their desired program of study.
|
Assist new students with finding additional financial resources and/or employment opportunities within Carle Health
|
Maintain appropriate new student records and document new student interactions
|
Explain academic policies, procedures, and curriculum to new students to meet their educational goals.
|
Aide in the recruitment of new students for all programs
Represent Methodist College at recruitment functions including high school visits, college fairs, alumni events, virtual events and community-based organizations
Analyze admission applications of prospective students utilizing established college admissions standards, guidelines and criteria
