Dr. Kumar has been my mom's oncologist for several years and I always appreciate the way he cares for my mom. Then last year I needed to see a hematologist and I was Dr. Kumar's patient. He is so kind, thorough and I value and respect him. Thank you Dr. Kumar for all you have done!!!!

Dr O delivered my son and I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor! He made my c-section an absolutely wonderful experience. He made me and my husband feel at ease, answered all of my questions, and we even shared a few laughs during surgery. Thank you Dr O for bringing my sweet boy into this world!

I want to thank Dr. Neekhra. Almost exactly seven years ago, I walked into his office with an enormous challenge, feeling hopeless and scared as I was experiencing complex medical issues. He was absolutely critical to getting me other testing and sending me to other experts to evaluate my rare disease. I owe him so much!

Thank you for being an amazing doctor and also an amazing human. Even when you were pregnant with your baby, you delivered mine via emergency c-section. When I got abnormal tests results you were there to come up with a game plan. When my mass was discovered and you were on your on call rotation you still reached out to me and let me know you knew what was going on and you were making arrangements behind the scenes. On the day of my surgery, you went out of your way to call my pre-op nurse and talk to me directly to reassure me that I was in the best hands possible and everything would be fine. You have ALWAYS been there during some of the most terrifying times of my life. When I’m scared and have no idea what to do next, your honesty, and comforting words have always been there. You are absolutely wonderful and I know this is how you are with EVERY patient, not just me. I can never thank you enough for everything you have done for me and will continue to do.

I been a Carle Patient for 21 years approximately. I have been a patient of Dr. Whisenand's longest. When seeing me he is always polite, friendly, and great listener. I truly appreciate, trust, and believe in him keeping my mental health in check. I feel good when I leave his office.
Dr. Scott Cinnamon, MD: Dr. Cinnamon is a doctor of great knowledge, trustworthiness, has positive outlook and puts me at ease. I like that he goes over my labs with me and if something is ever out of normal, we discuss it and possibly if need be, go over what course of action needs to be taken. Dr. Cinnamon like other doctors takes time with his patients and listens to them. By end of appointment, he creates a list of those items his patients need to follow or set goals. If any age restricted tests should be taken, he discusses those too.
Dr, Yang, is a great doctor as I put my faith and trust in him on my health. He is a great listener to me, and we discuss course of action should anything arise. He for who he is as doctor and what he does he truly puts me at ease. He usually gets back with you, or his staff get back with you timely.

Happy Doctor's Day to Dr. Ochoa! Not only does he do the best to his ability to deliver excellent patient care, but he is thorough with his patients' family and very sincere with his emotions. I have the utmost respect and appreciation for this doctor after doing everything in his power to save my grandpa's life and making sure my family was updated during the process. His work exemplifies the true meaning of a doctor. Carle Foundation Hospital is fortunate to have such a great man. My sincere appreciation and many thanks to this healthcare hero!

Primary care has been in dire straits with much more being expected for less. Doctors who persevere in this environment are the best and toughest of doctors! I thank all family physicians, but most especially Dr Dawn McCoy who puts the family in Family Physician. She cares not only for my family and I, but also my extended family. She does so with grace, confidence and with her best foot forward.
