Carle Health has been Certified™ by Great Place To Work® for the sixth consecutive year.
Carle Health earned the designation based on direct feedback from team members sharing their experiences working at Carle Health, data about workforce demographics and other topics, and a narrative outlining why Carle Health is a great place to work and ways Carle supports team members.
The organization scored well above industry averages in many survey dimensions, including team member inclusivity, community impact and pride.
Feedback from Carle Health team members helps the organization continually improve and be a workplace that attracts and retains the best staff. Excellent and compassionate team members provide the highest quality care to the patients and communities that we serve.
This year, 83% of surveyed team members shared their confidence that Carle Health is a great place to work. That compares with 57% of employees at a typical U.S.-based company.
It’s because of so many engaged and dedicated team members that the organization’s commitment to its patients and communities is achievable. That commitment is another strong area of significance for those who participated in the evaluation. Team members share this sentiment as 88% of those surveyed said they feel good about the ways that Carle Health contributes to the community.
“I am so proud of the Carle Health team,” Lauren Schmid, executive vice president and chief human resources officer, said. “Thanks to their passion and dedication to our patients, members, colleagues and communities, Carle Health continues to be an engaging, innovative place to work.”
Great Place To Work is the recognized authority on workplace culture, employee experience and leadership behaviors.
“Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience,” Sarah Lewis-Kulin, vice president of Global Recognition at Great Place to Work, said. “By successfully earning this recognition, it is evident that Carle Health stands out as one of the top companies to work for, providing a great workplace environment for its employees.”
