Why do some of our providers not have a star rating? This can be for several reasons, including:

  1. The provider has not yet received the minimum number of patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
  2. The provider practices in a specialty or office that does not use the specified surveys currently used for these ratings.

Dr. Porter is a amazing ENT doctor. He is very caring and knowledgeable. He is patient with the kids.

Very appreciative that one ENT referred to another ENT for a second opinion ref. MRI results.

The nurse wouldn't answer a couple questions. Just went on to her next question.

While Carle measures many aspects of our patients’ experience, only the survey questions specific to each provider are used to calculate their star rating. The surveys asks patients to evaluate their physicians in areas like communication, listening skills and respect. Results are used to evaluate patients’ overall perception of care and to identify areas for improvement. For each provider, ratings from their patients are averaged together to form a single star rating.

We were late to my appt due to an accident on our way to the clinic. I called the office to make sure they knew I was going to be late. I was almost an hour late, yet the office accommodated me with my surgical follow-up. I have always received excellent care at the ENT office. Dr. Porter is second to none!

This was the first time I actually spoke with anyone who could explain things after going through two different tests, and only seeing the technician reports on MyCarle. I did not get in to see the doctor for over 4 weeks. Even though the results did not require urgent action, I would have appreciated more personal contact with someone to explain them much sooner.

I got the feeling that the for the doctor before came into the room. He has made up his mind that this was going to be the end. He didn't seem even help make a better understanding of how to prevent this. What can we do? What what am I looking forward to a I just felt very rushed didn't he could have been behind but I did feel rushed and that he really wasn't listening this time. He has in the past but this time was like I said, I think he had his mind made up before he even came into the room. Thank you.
