Why do some of our providers not have a star rating? This can be for several reasons, including:

  1. The provider has not yet received the minimum number of patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
  2. The provider practices in a specialty or office that does not use the specified surveys currently used for these ratings.

Everyone was very helpful and courteous. My only complaint is that I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time to see the doctor.

The registration part is very unusual and frustrating. It is hard to get planning and things taken care of when you don't know what time to arrive or be there before the day.

Eager to educate on why fluid build up. Willing to try new treatments.

While Carle measures many aspects of our patients’ experience, only the survey questions specific to each provider are used to calculate their star rating. The surveys asks patients to evaluate their physicians in areas like communication, listening skills and respect. Results are used to evaluate patients’ overall perception of care and to identify areas for improvement. For each provider, ratings from their patients are averaged together to form a single star rating.

I wanted to be seen earlier than my scheduled appointment and when there was a cancellation they really contacted me even if there was really not much time to get there ( we have to be there in 1 hour) Thank God we were able to make it and we thank the lady who made it possible for me to see the doctor earlier.

Waited 1/2 hour after checking in, and so checked with reception by ENT. They said MD was behind. It would have been nice for them to let me know before I had to check with them. Thanks!

That I really liked the interpreter system from when I entered the building until we left the building, it helped me thanks.

08/21/2019

I HATE using the kiosk to check in.

08/09/2019

Everyone treated me with great care.

The new facility is amazing. Would definitely recommend this. All the staff were friendly. Very professional. Thank you for this extra peace of mind.

07/19/2019

Yeah, you can go back to the South Clinic. It's easier to get to.

Dr. Porter was knowledgeable and explained things well. He listened as well

Everyone involved in my sons care the day of his procedure were all very caring and competent in their job. The listened to all my concerns and even the doctor addressed the concerns prior to the procedure. He made sure to throughly explain the procedure and why they were holding off doing other procedures at that time.

The new campus needs better signage, it's confusing.

05/31/2019

I love the fact the way that the doctor took the time to explain my son's procedure, [...], and Carle did a really awesome job on my son's surgery.

05/21/2019

Dr. Porter was quick and efficient. He gave options for treatment while providing what he felt was best. I appreciated the care he felt for my child.

05/15/2019

I have seen Dr. Porter three times now and each time has been unhelpful or unsuccessful in some way. The first time, I was forgotten by the nurses so I was not seen until 1.5 hours after my appointment. The second time, Dr. Porter was running about an hour behind. And today, Dr. Porter had a meeting during the time of our appointment, but only called YESTERDAY to try and reschedule. It is already incredibly difficult to get a meeting with him since he is only in the office 2 days a week. I consistently feel frustrated by the office and by Dr. Porter.

05/07/2019

Dr. Porter is a amazing ENT doctor. He is very caring and knowledgeable. He is patient with the kids.

05/06/2019

Very appreciative that one ENT referred to another ENT for a second opinion ref. MRI results.

04/03/2019

The nurse wouldn't answer a couple questions. Just went on to her next question.

03/27/2019

We were late to my appt due to an accident on our way to the clinic. I called the office to make sure they knew I was going to be late. I was almost an hour late, yet the office accommodated me with my surgical follow-up. I have always received excellent care at the ENT office. Dr. Porter is second to none!
