Team Approach to Recovery
Our physician-led team includes:
- Two addiction medicine specialists and one nurse practitioner
- Six counselors certified or licensed in addiction counseling
- Multiple support staff positions and services
We strive to support individuals through their long-term journey to recovery and help them navigate the best treatment options. We also seek to decrease the stigma around addiction and increase access to care.
What Makes Our Clinic Special?
Our clinic is designed with the needs of patients in mind. We provide comprehensive, patient-centered treatment to those who have addiction disorders and who may have co-occurring mental health conditions. We also accept many insurance plans and offer financial assistance programs for those without insurance.

Treatment and Resources
Medication Assisted Treatment
As part of comprehensive treatment, our physician team is approved to prescribe medication-assisted treatment for addiction when appropriate.
These medications include but are not limited to:
- Buprenorphine (Brand name: Suboxone®)
- Extended-release naltrexone (Brand name: Vivitrol®)
Nicotine addiction is a serious, often life-long and life threatening disease that affects people throughout our nation and the world. Our team is willing and able to work with those affected using a multi-disciplinary, team based approach along with medications to improve your odds of quitting.
Addiction Counseling with Certified and Licensed Clinicians
Our committed team will help you or your loved one by providing the region’s most comprehensive and confidential treatment and intervention.
Individual, Family and Group Therapy and Education
Our therapy spans all levels of care, including one-on-one therapy, group-setting therapy, counseling and programs to benefit family members.
Intensive Outpatient Program
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers effective, flexible treatment sessions held in the evening, so participants can maintain school, work or family obligations.
Without support, long-term drug and alcohol recovery is often very difficult. This program is designed to prevent relapse and enhance coping.
A Driving-Under-the-Influence (DUI) incidence can leave you confused and full of questions. CARC is licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse to perform DUI services.
Our staff is trained to help clients through the mandatory evaluation and treatment process. We are here to provide effective and efficient services to help reduce the possibility of future problems with alcohol, drug or traffic violations.

In addition to providing treatment for people struggling with substance use disorders, we offer help for the entire family. We focus on helping people understand substance abuse/addiction and how they can help their loved one and themselves.
