Counseling Services

Cancer not only impacts you physically, it takes an emotional toll as well. Carle Cancer Institute Normal provides counseling services on site for our patients with cancer while undergoing treatment.

The services are available Tuesday mornings from 8 a.m. to noon and Wednesday afternoons from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The patients will be referred by their provider at Carle Cancer Institute Normal for these services.

Counseling services can help with the following:

• Assistance with financial challenges associated with a cancer diagnosis.
• Help with the anxiety, depression, feelings, and reactions related to their diagnosis.
• Access to and support of a safe place to talk about your worries during this time.

If you feel like you would benefit from counseling services, talk with your treatment team about a referral.
