Pediatric Emergency Care

At Carle Foundation Hospital, our specially trained pediatricians and pediatric hospitalists care for our young patients should an emergency arise. Our emergency department recertified as an Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP) because of its strength in caring for and meeting the unique needs of young patients. If you need care from one of our rural partner hospitals, we make sure staff at each location has 24/7 access to call or video conference with our pediatric specialists. So no matter what, your child is getting expert care at all of our locations.
