Nearly 3,000 nurses practice in a variety of settings from inpatient to ambulatory to our health plan. Each day, our nurses give everything they have to care for patients. And, in return, we make sure patients get the chance to say thank you by nominating a nurse for the Daisy Award, a national program recognizing exceptional nursing care. Nominate a DAISY Nurse Today.The Carle Nurse Residency Program (CNRP) is a nationally recognized transition-to-practice program that successfully guides nurses into the hospital setting. Nursing students in the final semester of nursing school are eligible to apply. The 12- to 20-week (depending on unit) program provides orientation, coaching and support to make all the difference.
Student Nurse Internship Program
Junior or senior nursing students work alongside Carle's experienced nurses in Medical/Surgical, Emergency Department and Ambulatory departments.
