As part of the integration with Carle Health, the Advocate Charitable Foundation offices at BroMenn and Eureka hospitals are now part of Carle Health Center for Philanthropy. All donations, funds and assets designated for programs and services at BroMenn and Eureka will transfer and continue to support the purposes identified by donors.
“We are grateful to be part of such giving and caring communities,” said Colleen Kannaday, president of Carle BroMenn Medical Center and Carle Eureka Hospital. “We’re excited to partner with Carle Health Center for Philanthropy to continue our efforts and connect the passion and gratitude of our donors with programs and services needing support in Bloomington-Normal and Eureka.”
As of July 1, any donations made to support Carle BroMenn Medical Center or Carle Eureka Hospital will come to and be managed by Carle Health Center for Philanthropy. One hundred percent of funds raised will be used for the purpose specified by the donor.
“Rest assured, gifts made in support of local programs and services will stay local,” said Beth Katsinas, vice president, Carle Health Center for Philanthropy. “The process for giving may look slightly different, but the mission remains the same—to enhance the world-class healthcare Carle provides.”
The Development Council, established more than a decade ago, will continue to serve as an advisory group to Carle BroMenn Medical Center, Carle Eureka Hospital and Carle Health Center for Philanthropy. “It’s incredibly important for local community members to provide guidance and input on philanthropic matters,” Katsinas said.
In addition, the philanthropy staff will remain onsite at Carle BroMenn Medical Center and continue to serve fundraising needs for the BroMenn and Eureka service areas. “It’s equally important for donors to have a trusted, familiar face to answer their questions and accept gifts,” Katsinas said.
