Spiritual Care

Chaplain Services
Carle BroMenn Medical Center multifaith hospital chaplains are available to patients, families and staff within minutes to provide comfort, support and a listening ear in a way that respects your individual values and choices. They regularly make rounds on clinical units and are on call nights and weekends. They also can help you connect with your own faith leader at your request.

Contacting a Chaplain
If you or your loved one wants to speak with a chaplain, please ask your nurse to page the on-call chaplain.

Chapel and Garden
The Chapel is located on the first floor and is open to hospital visitors 24 hours a day. The Chapel Garden is located near the front Atrium entrance of the hospital and is open to the public around the clock.

Grief Support Group
To assist you with understanding and navigating your grief, Spiritual Care offers a grief support group the second and fourth Monday of each month, 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel at Carle BroMenn Medical Center. Learn more here.

Clinical Pastoral Education
Our clinical pastoral education (CPE) is an intensive, experiential education-for-ministry program for spiritual leaders interested in developing clinical skills. It's accredited by the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education. Learn more about the program here.
