Find the Right Carefor Your Needs

Carle Care Choices

At Carle we know you like choices and convenience. Whether you need a routine physical, care for a sudden illness or injury, or are dealing with a life threatening concern, we have the care you need. From primary care, to virtual health, emergency care, and every level in between, you can be confident that Carle has you covered, no matter what choice you make.

Primary Care

Primary care is your front door entry into the Carle Health system. In primary care, you are treated by your primary care provider (PCP) and your team of medical professionals. Don’t have a PCP? We can help you identify the right provider to help take care of you and your family for years to come. With 31 clinic locations, stretching across central and southern Illinois, you can rest easy knowing that a Carle location is always near and ready to take care of you.

Carle Primary Care will always work to get you an appointment as quickly as possible with a member of your care team, and in many cases has same day appointment availability. MyCarle scheduling is also available with your care team.

Choose primary care for needs such as:

  • Chronic disease management
  • Common everyday illnesses
  • Preventative medicine
  • School & sports physicals
  • Annual physicals

Family and Adult Medicine Residency Clinics

Many family medicine and adult medicine physicians choose to continue their education after they graduate from medical school. These providers enter what is known as a Residency Program that consists of 3 additional years of specialized training, taught by expert physicians.

At Carle we rely on our residency clinics to help these physicians continue their education, and ensure that our patients are receiving top quality care. As a patient of one of our residency clinics, you will be surrounded by a team of medical providers, for even routine needs. Each team consists of an overseeing physician and 3 residents, each in a different year of the program. When a resident graduates, another takes their place on the team, so you will always feel protected and cared for at all times.

Residency clinics care for all the same illnesses and injuries that are treated in primary care, but you have the added satisfaction of knowing you are helping train physicians to be top quality care providers.
